a valid residence permit for Slovenia do not need to apply for a
Schengen short-term visa if their stay in the Netherlands is not
longer than 90 days within a period of six months.
Information for Slovene companies about deploying employees of nationalities which need a visa for the Netherlands
Employees with a nationality for which a visa is required can live and work in the Netherlands for a maximum of 90 days every six months if they have a valid residence permit for Slovenia and the Slovene company is taking care of a project in the Netherlands with its own employees. They have to register themselves within 72 hours after arrival at the aliens police and the Slovene company should fill out form E101 for each employee to register them at CWI (www.werk.nl ).
If the Slovene company provides employees to a Dutch company and this Dutch company does the supervision during the project, employees, with a nationality for which a visa is required, need a working permit for the Netherlands. The procedure should be solved by the Dutch company.
When the working period is longer than 3 months a temporary residence permit is required. This is a complicated process which requires time and money. The fastest way is to start this procedure in the Netherlands. Otherwise you can contact the embassy in Vienna by telephone (+43 1 589 39 - 212 ) or send an e-mail to wen-ca@minbuza.nl.
